James C. Sirtak, Sr., 92, of Prairie du Rocher, passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Coulterville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Coulterville. The visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, June 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Sebastian Ukoh officiating. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 12 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud is in charge of arrangements.
