Illinois Nature Preserves Commission 245th meeting to be held in Waterloo

The Illinois Nature Preserves Commission will hold its 245th meeting at the Monroe County Annex Building, 901 Illinois Avenue in Waterloo, on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m. The meeting is open to the public.

At their three times-per-year meeting, the commission conducts its business, hears reports from INPC staff, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Illinois Endangered Species Protection Board and Friends of Illinois Nature Preserves. The commission then hears proposal presentations for approval of new dedicated nature preserves and registered land and water reserves. Other business will be conducted towards the end of the meeting. Proposals for two new nature preserve dedications in Monroe County are among the presentations on the agenda.
