Red Bud High School Senior Lyla Hess recently signed a letter of intent to play softball at John A. Logan. Hess has been dedicated to the sport since she was nine years old.
“I played on Southern Storm from the age of 9 to 15 then switched to the Louisville Sluggers organization for a year, until the team fell apart. Since then, I’ve played for the Bombers team,” said Hess.
Hess looks forward to continuing her athletic and academic career at Logan for the VOLS team.
