CHEERS TO 125 YEARS–The Village of Hecker held their rescheduled 125th celebration on Saturday, Sept. 4 with a parade and festival. During the celebration, a ceremonial keg of beer was tapped. Pictured toasting to the village’s anniversary are many local elected officials and the quasquicentennial committee members.
Originally scheduled to take place in September 2020, the Village of Hecker was finally able to hold their 125th celebration this past weekend.
While it rained much of the day on Saturday, Sept. 4, the rain held off long enough in the afternoon for the village’s parade to be held at 4 p.m. and quite the crowd came out to view the parade.
