Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Wartburg, 5765 Maeystown Road, Waterloo will host its annual Good Friday service in the German language on April 3.
The service begins at 10 a.m. and the Rev. Dr. Darwin Schrader of Lebanon will be the guest preacher. Rev. Lyle Buettner, pastor at St. Paul, New Athens and Trinity, Darmstadt will serve as the liturgist. The service folder with scripture readings and hymns will be printed in the German language.
