Red Bud lost another former business owner on May 6 with the passing of Dan Stapleton.
Stapleton, 74, had owned and operated Stapleton Custom Painting in Red Bud.
Visitation was May 9 at St. Peter United Church of Christ in Red Bud. The memorial service was held on May 10 at the church with Rev. Cory Hartz officiating.
