Every month, a committee within the Red Bud High School FFA chapter selects a member to be honored with the SAE of the Month distinction.
SAE stands for supervised agricultural experience, which is a work experience where students keep a record book over what they have done and learned as they conduct a project of their choice. Projects can range from paying jobs to hobby farm activities.
The FFA member being recognized for the month of August is the president of the Red Bud FFA Chapter, Madison Falkenhain.
For more on Falkenhain, please see this week’s print edition.
