Upcoming events and repair work were the main topics of discussion at the April 13 Evansville Village Board meeting.
Kicking off the discussion of events, Trustee Darren Kempfer noted the fire department’s annual egg hunt on April 4, despite the less than ideal weather, was a big success. There were 135 children participating this year, and each received at least 14 eggs and a gift basket.
The egg hunt is funded by the fire department’s chicken and beer dance, as well as numerous donations from the community.
