Developing partnerships to get street repairs done and moving forward with annexation plans were the biggest topics of discussion at Monday night’s Evansville board meeting.
The village has long had trouble maintaining sections of Liberty and Broad Streets, which receive extensive damage due to the sheer amount of heavy trucks that drive along them every day.
Village President Kenny Kempfer noted that he had talked to Tony Schenk, an engineer with Gonzalez Companies, about doing a cost analysis for the engineering of getting these sections of road done in concrete as a truck route.
