Aggressive dogs running at large are becoming a big problem in Evansville, so there were quite a few in attendance at Monday night’s village board meeting to discuss the matter.
Kayln Little kicked off the discussion by admitting that his black lab does on occasion get out, but it was not his dog that caused a recent incident in town. He added that everyone assumes it is his dog, and both he and his daughter have been threatened because of this.
Village President Kenny Kempfer agreed that things have definitely “blown up due to social media.”
Geri Meyer told the board that her small yorkie dog has been attacked. In addition, a pair of dogs have been aggressive towards her and her family on their own porch.
