On Saturday the 16th, the Musketeers took part in the annual Cahokia Conference cross country meet, held in New Athens this year. This is the first year of newly arranged divisions within the conference. There are now three divisions, Kaskaskia (small school), Illinois (medium school) and Mississippi (large school). Red Bud, along with Chester, Sparta, Wesclin, Okawville and Carlyle make up the Illinois division. Our boys had a full team running on Saturday and ran well, missing first by only six points. Wesclin took first with 36 points, Red Bud closely behind with 42 points, Okawville had 65 and Chester with 109 and Sparta in fifth with 119 pts.
