Various updates were the main topics of the Dec. 22 Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting.
Randolph County Engineer Grant Deterding noted in his report that the highway department has been working on signs, grading road shoulders and doing equipment maintenance.
He stated that on Dec. 13, they had the annual rock letting and received bids for the aggregate materials for the year. Bids were received for the various materials from Mississippi Lime Co. of St. Louis, Select Materials Midwest of East St. Louis, Kinkaid Stone of Ava, Columbia Quarry Co. of East St. Louis and Beelman Logistics, LLC of East St. Louis.
