Updates were the bulk of the short Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting on Jan. 20.
From the highway department, County Engineer Mike Riebeling noted that they had opened bids on Jan. 18 for two new mowers. He presented the bids to the commissioners, noting that the low bid was from Suchomski Equipment in Pinckneyville.
The bid for both mowers was $25,498 and included a trade in.
