Various updates made up most of the Nov. 24 Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting.
Randolph County Economic Development Director Chris Martin gave most of the updates. He started by noting that Red Bud Industries (RBI) was seeking a five year tax abatement for an expansion.
“New job growth comes from companies we already have,” he commented, pointing out a few other companies in the county that recently expanded. RBI’s expansion is an over 52,000 square foot addition, and will also add 25 new jobs.
