Council approved projects, permits

Projects, permits and personnel matters were the biggest part of Monday evening’s brief Red Bud City Council meeting.

One of the biggest things receiving approval was the bid for phase two of work on city hall. This would be for masonry tuckpointing, as well as adding sealer to the brick, stone and terra cotta.

Approved was the bid from Mason’s Masonry Restoration at a total of $159,206. City Engineer/Code Administrator Jeff Mueller noted that this bid came in under the architect’s estimate.
