The City of Red Bud recently founded the Community Foundation of Red Bud, which is a 501(c)(3) organization. The group has begun meeting and is laying out the groundwork for the foundation. They have also set their mission statement as, “To be a catalyst for igniting generosity, serve as a resource and coordinator for charitable activities, and to advance the quality of life in our community.” Pictured are foundation board members: Treasurer Jeremy DeMond, Jim Faust, President Gerald Hanebutt, Brenda Gilpatrick and Secretary Mike Reed.
