Two proclamations and a declaration were approved by the Randolph County Board of Commissioners at their May 10 meeting.
On hand to present the first proclamation and the declaration were Dennis Trask, with ComWell and the Healthy Communities Alliance; past Health Communities Alliance Chair Rhonda Wilson; current Chair Jennifer Barbour; Coulterville School Counselor Jamie Kwiatkowski and members of the Coulterville Life Savers team.
The proclamation declared May 12-18 as National Prevention Week in Randolph County, and the declaration made May 10 as Rhonda Wilson Day in the county. Both highlighted the efforts the alliance has made in the county in promoting prevention, support and recovery.
