Commissioners approve new fiscal year budget

On the afternoon of Dec. 1, the Randolph County Board of Commissioners met to approve of resolutions and ordinances pertaining to the changeover of the county’s fiscal year.

The commissioners had previously heard a favorable report about the audit and budget at their Oct. 27 meeting.

On hand on Dec. 1 to discuss the highlights of the budget was Jim Schmersahl of Schmersahl Treloar & Co. He noted of the budget that it was “as close to break even as possible.”
