At their April council meeting, the City of Red Bud approved joining the Illinois Public Works Mutual Aid Network (IPWMAN).
This week IPWMAN proudly welcomed the City of Red Bud as a new member of its statewide mutual aid network. This partnership signifies a strengthened commitment to mutual aid and resource sharing during disasters and emergencies.
As a member of IPWMAN, the City of Red Bud gains access to a plethora of valuable resources that are crucial during times of disaster and emergency. When local resources are depleted, the City of Red Bud can request aid from the statewide network. Likewise, the City of Red Bud stands ready to assist other communities in need, offering support when situations surpass its capabilities.
