It was a birthday celebration he’ll never forget as Floyd Melliere made a return to the pitcher’s mound for his 101st birthday.
Melliere is no stranger to pitching, and on May 19, he was throwing out a ceremonial first pitch at the St. Louis Cardinals game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
