Baldwin board approves of hiring second officer

Hiring an additional officer was approved at the Jan. 17 Baldwin Village Board meeting.

The board held continued discussion on the idea of hiring a second police officer. The board approved of hiring an additional officer to work around 12 hours per week.

On a related note, following a brief executive session, the board opted to publicly release minutes from three closed meetings. These were: Feb. 15, 2022 with the discussion of hiring a police officer; Aug. 2, 2022 with discussion on salaries; and Sept. 20, 2022 with discussion on hiring a police officer.
