St. John’s Lutheran Church in Red Bud hosted a Lutheran Early Response Team training on Saturday, Aug. 13 in its fellowship hall. Bryce Cramer of Murphysboro led the six hour session to prepare and certify the attendees to respond to natural disasters such as flooding, tornados, hurricanes and wildfires. They will be added to the LERT website of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and will respond as needed and able to assist with disaster relief both locally and nationally.
