Annual fish round up held

The annual Kaskaskia River Rough Fish Round Up bowfishing tournament was held on Saturday, July 17 at Wood Duck Marina in Baldwin.

The event featured both boat and walking/shore divisions. This year a total of 14 teams, coming from Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky and Iowa, participated in the tournament.

Placing in the Big 10 (ten biggest fish) were: first place, Team Nocked Up – Wayne Swim and Clayton Millsap of Greenup; second place, Team Salute to Service – Tony Perotti, Kirk Ryan, Nick Boedy and Darren Hart of St. Louis, MO; and third place, Team Arrowholics – Frank Ford, Ty Dill, Brad Mertz and Evan Oberholzter, all of local towns.
