There may not be much local competition on the Nov. 3 general election ballots, but it is still very important to go out and vote.
Randolph County has no contested races. Monroe County has one contested race – for county commissioner.
Several current Randolph County office holders are seeking re-election. This includes: Melanie Johnson for county clerk; Justin Jeffers for treasurer; Ronald “Ronnie” White for commissioner; and Jarrod Peters for sheriff.
Lori Voss is unopposed and seeking her first term as assessor.
