Nail retiring as VFW commander

After 11 years at the helm, Clarence J. Nail is officially retiring as commander of the Red Bud VFW Post 6632.

His retirement concludes more than two decades of continuous service to the organiza­tion, having first joined the Post in 2001 before stepping into the commander role from 2015 to 2026.

Under Nail’s leadership, the Red Bud Post earned significant regional and national recognition, achieving All-State honors six times and All-American status five times.
