A special recognition was made at Monday night’s Evansville Board meeting.
The board took a moment to recognize Sonny Kisro as this year’s Evansville Citizen of the Year.
The plaque they presented him read, “For your countless hours volunteering with the village and many organizations. It is said that volunteers don’t have the time, they have the heart. We wish to thank you for the many hours you have given our village.”
