Last weekend’s storm brought lots of snow

SNOW DAY–On Sunday, Jan. 25, Red Bud School District Superintendent Jonathan Tallman announced that there would be no school the next day by sharing this picture of the Musketeer in front of Red Bud High School in seven inches of snow.

Starting on Saturday, Jan. 24 and continuing into Sunday, Jan. 25, the local area was hit by a strong winter storm.

The storm brought frigid temperatures, with the windchill dropping below 0. It also blanketed the area in several inches of snow, with some snow drifts getting a few feet deep.

Red Bud Mayor Susan Harbaugh shared a thank you to city employees for how they handled the storm and subsequent clean up.
