State Senator Terri Bryant is inviting residents across southern Illinois to help spread cheer this Valentine’s Day by participating in her annual Valentines for Seniors Card Drive.
The initiative encourages individuals, families, classrooms churches and community groups to create or sign Valentine’s Day cards that will be delivered to local seniors, including those living in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
“Our seniors deserve to know they are remembered and appreciated,” said Bryant. “A simple card can brighten someone’s day and remind them that their community cares. This is an easy way for people of all ages to make a meaningful difference.”
