Lyle W. Mathews, 85, of Ruma, passed away at 10:36 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. The visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10 and from 9-10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11 at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11 at Pechacek Funeral Homes with Pastor Rich Bersett officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Ruma.
