The Red Bud High School Blood Drive is a very important part of the school as well as the community. It is a great opportunity to get students involved and teach them what it means to be a blood donor. Besides the student body, the school is also hoping to get the community just as involved.
The first blood drive of the year is coming up quickly. It will be on Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. This blood drive is available for anyone in the community who is viable to donate.
Find this blood drive on the Red Cross app as well as their website. Keep an eye out for flyers in the community, because those also have a QR code to sign up.
For more on the blood drive, please see this week’s print edition.
