At the 2025 VFW Auxiliary National Convention held the week of Aug. 4 in Columbus, OH, members of Red Bud Auxiliary to VFW Post 6632 received the following awards for the State of Illinois:
Most outstanding activity and/or event using the VFW “Buddy” Poppy to educate the community about the VFW “Buddy Poppy” and most outstanding activity and/or event to recognize and celebrate the VFW National Home’s 100th birthday. Both events were coordinated by Bronda Hubler, president of Red Bud Auxiliary to VFW Post 6632.
Most outstanding “training and promotion of the Membership Program.” This was coordinated by Kathryn Rowold, senior vice of Red Bud Auxiliary to VFW Post 6632.
