A presentation about the Discover Downstate Illinois convention and visitors bureau was a big part of the Feb. 13 Randolph County Board of Commissioners meeting.
Commissioner Ronnie White serves as the chairman for Discover Downstate Illinois, and he along with Sales and Marketing Director Christine Orr and Communications Manager Jordan Jackovich provided information about the bureau.
Discover Downstate Illinois is a convention and visitors bureau (CVB) that covers 22 counties and two cities in Illinois. While it is in the southern part of Illinois, spanning the width of the state, it does not cover all of southern Illinois.
