The Red Bud Elementary School Science Fair was held on Feb. 4.
From the science fair, four students were selected to participate in the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Regional Science Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 24. To advance to the regional fair, students were required to present their projects, be judged and earn a first-place ribbon at the local RBES Science Fair.
RBES judges evaluated students not only on their experiments, but also on the quality of their research and the clarity of their presentations.
