Jacqueline “Jackie” L. Wachtel, 86, of Red Bud, passed away at 9:22 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2026, at Accolade Healthcare of Waterloo. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30 from 9-11 a.m. at Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m. (The family has requested that everyone dresses causal for the service.) Interment will be in St. Marcus Cemetery in Red Bud.
