Tragedy struck again for the Robert family on LL Road, as the family’s farm faced another fire on Monday.
Around 12:30 p.m. on April 6, multiple area fire departments responded to a structure fire in the 8500 block of LL Road, north of Red Bud. A barn, as well as a row of round hay bales were on fire, creating multiple exposures.
Red Bud Fire Chief Sean Landgraf noted that in addition to Red Bud, the Hecker, Waterloo and Baldwin Fire Departments assisted with tankers, pumpers and manpower.
