The Lady Musketeers’ softball season is getting ready to kick off as they host their first game on March 10 at home against New Athens.
For the past few seasons, the Red Bud High School softball program has set the standard for its girls. The Lady Musketeers have won three consecutive conference championships, one regional title, and three straight 25+ win seasons in the last three years.
They are in hope of earning another conference title as Coach Boeving said, “I think that our girls know there is a target on our back, having won the last 3, but that has been driving them to work hard in practice and focus on making sure we’re taking the right steps to earn that championship again.”
