It’s that time of year again as Red Bud gets ready for the holiday season. Last weekend, with the beautiful weather, the town was busy getting decorated as the annual Holiday Happenings/ Christmas Walk will be held this weekend.
On the afternoon of Nov. 12, the Red Bud Community Christmas Tree arrived at the city hall park. The tree’s arrival is one of the first parts of the park undergoing its annual transformation into Santa’s Village.
This year’s tree is a white pine, measuring around 30 feet tall. It was donated by Keith and Lorna Kinzel.
