The Reverend Monsignor Daniel John Jurek, 79, of Belleville, passed away at 10:32 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Shiloh. The visitation is from 9:30-11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher. The funeral Mass will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Godfrey Mullen officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Pechacek Funeral Homes in Red Bud is in charge of arrangements.
