Godier has retired from PdR School

Donald Godier started working for Prairie du Rocher School District 134 in April 2000. During the last 25 years, his talents were utilized in many updates at school. Daily, he took pride in maintaining and cleaning the school. The Prairie du Rocher’s Board of Education acknowledged his retirement during the school’s community meeting on Aug. 14 with a plaque and gift. He also celebrated with the students at an ice cream social on Aug. 29. Both occasions included the students singing “O Donny Boy!” to him. His retirement aspirations include spending time with his grandchildren, traveling and “staying out of trouble” with his wife Arlene. Godier is pictured with his family following his retirement recognition by the school board.
