WASHED OUT–Red Bud City Superintendent Josh Eckart shared this picture of the water damage to Rock Hill Drive on Sunday.
Last week the City of Red Bud began work to replace a culvert under Rock Hill Drive, however Mother Nature had different plans on when the project would be completed.
The edges of Rock Hill Drive had been wearing away earlier this year. Red Bud City Superintendent Josh Eckart previously noted that the repair work had been included in the schedule for this summer. And work began last week.
Rock Hill Drive is a road going to the subdivision located behind St. John’s Lutheran School. Work on this particular road is complicated, as it is the only way in or out of the subdivision, so they have to maintain one lane of traffic for resident access.
