Many people may have heard of the Community Foundation of Randolph County (CFRC), especially following their work to help the Village of Prairie du Rocher and to fundraise for the shelter house at Fort Kaskaskia. But what is the community foundation and why is it important?

What is the Community Foundation of Randolph County?
The Community Foundation of Randolph County is a non-profit, 501 c 3 organization recognized by the Illinois Secretary of State and the Illinois Attorney General.
The mission of the CFRC is: To enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Randolph County by implementing their charitable aspirations, making grants, awarding scholarships, investing and safeguarding charitable assets, providing information regarding charitable endeavors, and engaging our citizens to address issues confronting our shared lives.
