A new trial date was set for Jason Stoker during a brief case management hearing on Dec. 11.
Randolph County State’s Attorney Jeremy Walker noted that at the hearing, they set a final pre-trial hearing for Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. and are set to start jury selection for the trial on Jan. 22.
Due to the publicity of the case, Walker anticipates it would take most of the day to select the jury. He added that with the amount of witnesses, the trial itself should take several days.
