Tie for first at meet

The St. John The Baptist Catholic School’s girls track team tied for first at the Junior OVC Track Meet with Chester Lutheran on Wednesday, April 17. The girls scored 81 points and received many ribbons. Winning a first place was Annabeth Ohlau in the 400 meter run. Second place winners were: Peyton Kreher, 100 meter hurdles; and Maria Murry, 400 meter run. Third place winners were: Annika Fabie, Ella Umbdenstock, Peyton Kreher and Maria Murry, 4 x100 relay; Ella Umbdenstock, high jump and sixth grade 100 meter; Annabeth Ohlau, discus; Hope Chambers, 1600 meter run; and Hope Chambers, Molly Steibel, Helen Hess, Annabeth Ohlau, 4×400 meter relay. Fourth place winners were: Annika Fabie, Maria Murry, Julia Ohlau, Peyton Kreher, 4×200 meter relay; and Helen Hess, 1600 meter run. Fifth place winners were: Hope Chambers, high jump; Julia Ohlau, fifth grade 100 meter; and Ella Umbdenstock, long jump. Sixth place winners were: Annika Fabie, long jump; Hope Chambers, shot put; Helen Hess, 100 meter hurdles and 800 meter run; Peyton Kreher, 200 meters; Annika Fabie, fifth grade 100 meter.
