School board recognizes students and staff

Student and staff recognitions were the main highlight of the Sept. 19 Red Bud Board of Education meeting.

Elementary Principal Ryan McClellan started by recognizing teachers Katie Liefer, Chris Gidley and Angela Dahm for all of their hard work in organizing the school’s fall festival.

“It takes a lot of work to put it on. They are the driving force and do a good job. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to have the event we have.”

Assistant Principal Barry Wittler stated that they were recognizing two students, Dallas Doeding and Liam Hamilton.

Wittler noted that Doeding is in the early childhood program and commented how well he had adjusted to school, how well he does in class and that he is a “good friend” to other students. “He’s having a great start to the school year.”
