Randolph County 4-H to host scavenger hunt on Sept. 23

Wondering what 4-H is all about? Local youth can learn more through a fun scavenger hunt on Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Sparta City Park.

With six million members, 4-H is the largest out-of-school youth program in the country. 4-H is in every county in Illinois and our state holds 200,000 members. Open to youth ages 5-18, 4-H makes learning fun. In addition to club meetings and workshops, a variety of projects are offered through 4-H. Members can pick the ones that most interest them and complete the project at their own pace. This gives youth important skills in setting and working toward their goals.
