Providing Service

Several members of the Red Bud Masonic Lodge were at the Red Bud Fire Department’s Open House on Oct. 11 to provide the free Illinois Child Identification Program (IL CHIP). The program creates a packet of information on children, including fingerprints, a picture, an audio/video clip and a DNA sample, all of which could be helpful in finding and identifying children if anything should happen to them. All of the collected information is given to parents, none of it is kept by the Masons. Pictured in the fingerprinting area are Masons John Zika, Billy McIntyre and John Parker.
