St. John’s Lutheran School held an open house on Feb. 20, which was rescheduled from the original Feb. 11 date due to ice. Approximately 150 people came to visit the classrooms, talk with teachers and enjoy soup and entertainment in the gym. One act of entertainment was several fourth grade girls doing a lip sync to “The Duck Song.” Pictured performing are students: Jenna Whelan, Addy Rahn, Lily Minemann, Olivia Valleroy, Eve Schwartzkopf, Julia Whelan and Kendall Crafton. Teacher Betty Schmitz, with Lucas and Brayden McCarthy, told one line jokes; and Rev. Mark Nebel ran a game of Jeopardy featuring categories about St. John’s Lutheran School and faculty.
