NWTF Chapter to host 10th annual hunting heritage banquet

The Randolph County Cutters and Strutters Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, will be hosting their 10th Annual Hunting Heritage Banquet on Friday, Feb. 28 at The Ratzkeller, 1019 Veterans St., in Red Bud. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Funds raised from the banquets are directed through the NWTF Hunting Heritage Fund to support many projects throughout Illinois for the wild turkey and other habitat species. In addition to supporting the wild turkey habitat, local NWTF Chapters can apply for funding to support community activities for high school scholarships, JAKES Youth Day Activities, Turkey Hunter’s Care Program (turkeys for families in need), and wing shooting educational programs for women and youth.
