Event raised almost $2,000 for American Cancer Society

TOOK PART IN SHOWCASE–Andria Zweigart is pictured painting at the Color a World Without Cancer Art Showcase. She joined 18 other artists who displayed their art, jewelry, photographs, wood art, and paper and needle art.

Thanks to everyone involved with the Color a World Without Cancer Art Showcase, the American Cancer Society has an additional $1,936 to spend on cancer research and cancer care services.

Those providing baked goods for the “Cafe de Artistes” included: Market on Main, Miriam Poston, Don’t Skip Dessert, Sally Cakes, Oven Lovin, Schnickelfritz Bakery, Susie’s Restaurant/Bethany and SK Creations.

Pamela Wegener (Pamela and a Piano) and Terry Meyer provided music for the afternoon.

Three members from Red Bud High School Art Club painted the faces of little ones at the showcase.
