A special meeting was held by the Evansville Village Board on Monday night in order to fill recent board vacancies.
At the board’s regular meeting on Aug. 10, the board approved of Village Treasurer Lisa Ohms-Schoenberger’s resignation. On Aug. 11, Nancy Schilling, who was serving as both a village trustee and mayor pro-tem, submitted her resignation.
At the Aug. 17 special meeting, Schilling was appointed as the new village treasurer. Appointed to fill her trustee spot was Ron Heinen, with a term ending in April 2021. Appointed as mayor pro-tem was Trustee Darren Kempfer.
